Paul Guilfoyle

Paul Guilfoyle was born in Dublin in 1950. From a young and impressionable age, he spent many lengthy holidays in Galway and Mayo. The strong visual memories of these times stayed with him and kept drawing him back. Paul began painting in order to revisit and express some of the magic of landscape in the West and other parts of Ireland. It quickly became his consuming passion. Paul held his first solo exhibition in the Kenny Gallery in 1993 and followed with a solo exhibition in Kilcock Art Gallery in 1994. He has exhibited regularly with both galleries since then. His work is represented in many major private collections in Ireland and around the world. Corporate collections include, AIB Group, Great Southern Hotel Group, Government Collection and Embassies abroad, Glanbia, Bank of Ireland.
